James Wilder, Ph.D., Co Author, The Life Model
Clinical Director, The Shepherd’s House, Pasadena

Dr. Wilder frequently speaks about Bonding and Joyful Identity Development, particularly for recovery from trauma, repair of broken relationships and development of strong, spiritual families. He travels across the country teaching and speaking on spiritual community, prayer, spiritual conflict and maturity to audiences of professional therapists, pastors and individuals interested in healing. He has given more than 80 radio and television interviews about men and fathers and led men's retreats on Stages of a Man's Life and The Wounded Father.

His greatest interest is teaching the LIFE Model which brings God to the center of healing and restores the community in which we live. He has gained practical insight into “neuro-theology” or the way our brains are “wired by God” for knowing Him and for experiencing JOY.

James Wilder is part of group of therapists, including James G. Friesen, author of Uncovering the Mystery of MPD, who all worked together to write The LIFE Model. Dr. Wilder has provided training for professionals in multiple nations on: Community Based Treatment, Treatment of Husbands of Incest Abuse Survivors, The LIFE Model, and Bonding, Joy & Recovery from Dissociation.

Michael Dye, NCAC II , Author, The Genesis Process

Michael Dye is a California, National Level II and International Certified Addiction Counselor. He has worked with hurting and addicted people for over 25 years. As a missionary with Youth with a Mission for ten years, Michael has had hands-on experience with compulsive behaviors in diverse cultural settings. He has years of experience designing and directing residential recovery programs including four years as program director of the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission which serves the homeless among whom are co-occurring and addicted men and women along with their children. The Genesis Process grew out of Michael seeing many of these “third strike” residents find spiritual renewal and long term recovery.

Michael has passion for researching new ways to help clients, counselors and churches to be more successful in overcoming self-destructive behaviors. Michael maintains a private practice and a busy, world-wide travel schedule, training counselors in the Genesis Process and working to incorporate Genesis principles into churches, residential and outpatient programs.
