Join us for the 23rd Annual NET Conference, “Strengthening the Armies of Compassion” in Orlando, FL!
Our goal is to Strengthen all who have a commitment to serve people and families in their communities though faith based organizations and activities devoted to recovery, counseling, compassion ministries and outreach to youth, families, AIDS sufferers, prisoners and the homeless.
The Orange County Coalition for a Drug Free Community, under the able leadership of Carol Burkett, is one of the most active in Florida. Coalition Staff and members of the Faith Committee invite you to enjoy, learn and be recognized for your important service.
In 2006, NET Institute celebrates 10 years of enlarging the early NET by welcoming new people from a range of professions, recovery backgrounds and spiritual traditions. This larger NET has been given structure through the NET Recovery Care Association which will increase our capacity to Nurture, Equip and Train our members and extended NETwork.

Dr. Jim Wilder will share his special insights about JOY in Recovery along with neuro-theology. Understanding joy, neuro-chemistry and the brain are keys to addiction and recovery work.
Michael Dye will join Jim Wilder with his Genesis Process activities for “Restoring Trust”. Mike’s two workshops will prepare facilitators to lead Genesis Change Groups in churches / ministries.
Cynthia Moreno Tuohy will lend her leadership and multiple skills to train us in strengthening healthy relationships and growing beyond conflict.
Rev. Edwin Sanders leads a dynamic African-American congregation in Nashville, TN, devoted to hands on HIV/AIDS & addiction ministry. Do not miss this inspiring leader’s approach to Faith in Recovery!
Dr. Wilfredo & Norma Rivera will present two Spanish workshops on the hard issues facing Hispanic families plus practical solutions.
Dr. Robert R. Perkinson returns with his uniquely spiritual approach to clinical treatment. He will follow up the Orange County Meth Task-Force presentation with specifics on treatment.
