Purpose: By request we've created a special course bundle for students seeking CAP licensure in the state of Florida. See below for the courses contained in this bundle.

Florida Certification Board (FCB) recognizes the accomplishments of professionals licensed by the Florida Board of Health who desire to add the distinction of an Addiction specific credential.

This includes:

·         Licensed Mental Health Counselors/ LMHC

·         Licensed Clinical Social Workers/ LCSW

·         Licensed Marriage and Family Counselors/ LMFT

In order to qualify for FCB’s credential of Certified Addiction Professional / CAP and to sit for the exam, you must document 145 hours (CEUs) of Addiction specific education.

NET Institute has created a cost savings bundle of courses which include Addiction Hours that FCB calls “Transdisciplinary Foundations” and include the following TAP 21 Categories:

Understanding Addiction/ Treatment Knowledge UA/TK - 85 hours

Application to Practice/ Professional Readiness    AP/PR - 60 hours

Licensed Professionals listed above may chose this economical bundle or take NET courses individually, or use with a combination of past college courses to fulfill the requirement of 145 hours in Addiction.
