This program is offered for the student
seeking comprehensive course work in addiction, counseling,
recovery support services and professional ethics from
a faith based and clinical perspective. The Addictions
Studies Diploma covers all of the content areas in
clinical addiction treatment and builds on other NTI
diploma programs. Additional coursework is available
in relapse prevention, using effective treatment plans,
appropriate documentation, 12 Step Principles, and
client education. The Addiction Studies Diploma provides
a depth and range of topics to broaden the student’s
knowledge of the field. |

- Acquire a knowledge base appropriate
for employment in the vast addiction field
- Utilize
various screening and assessment tools for clinical
evaluation
- Develop an appropriate treatment plan
