A Diploma in Restoration Ministry will
provide a sound understanding of the critical role
of addiction, substance abuse and sexual abuse as underlying
factors in the struggles of many people regardless
of religion, economics, education or family condition.
Coursework will provide a foundation to work in a variety
of treatment, prevention, recovery support and mercy
ministry settings.
Topics include an overview of addiction, family dynamics,
sexual issues in recovery, counseling foundations,
group counseling, HIV/Aids, domestic violence, recovery
support and ethics. |

- Understand the bio/psycho/social/ spiritual aspects
of addiction
- Identify the role of family issues
in addiction
- Facilitate support group programs
- Satisfy educational
requirements for Certified Associate Addictions
Professional, Level

electives.
