Nurture

• Serve a diverse student body from a range of recovery backgrounds, faith traditions and professional, pastoral, and clinical experience.



• Offer people of faith a deeper insight into spiritual and Biblical truth to support their own personal growth and/or recovery.



• Support students and “front line” workers seeking personal recovery and refreshing for service as well as professional skills and knowledge.

Equip

• Prepare NTI graduates for diverse human services such as counseling, addiction treatment, prison or mission work, compassion ministry, mental health work, lay & pastoral care, HIV/ AIDS, family & youth work/ prevention, and recovery support services.



• Promote cultural competency to ensure a growing international body of faith-based workers able to address a range of spiritual-clinical-practical care issues.
  
  
• Support multiple levels of networking with addiction, recovery, compassion, clinical and governmental groups by providing technical assistance, leadership, training materials and connections with NTI staff and students as vital members of the larger community of care.

Train

• Develop relevant training venues and materials in multiple languages to increase the capacity of individuals & organizations to provide counseling, addiction, prevention, ministry, and recovery support services and programs.
  
  
• Maintain professional addiction certification board standards of NAADAC National and the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for live instruction, distance education and training materials to provide certification opportunities worldwide.
  
  
• Multiply impact through Training Partnerships with organizations aligned with NET Institute’s mission which guides and informs our training materials.
